Adult Music Lessons

Online Music Lessons

From September through December, 2010, we will pilot a new program that allows busy adults to take their lessons online, rather than at our studio.  The pilot program will be limited to certain instruments and times of the week.  Stay tuned for updates on this topic!

1. What do I need to do to sign up for online music lessons at HAA?

Give us a call at (908) 782-4943 or come by our office, and we'll discuss your options.

2. What are the technology requirements to take online lessons at HAA?

You need a computer with Skype installed, a camera, and a microphone you can use with your computer.

3. How do online lessons work?

They closely resemble face-to-face, in-person lessons, except that teaching and interaction with your teacher take place through live video and audio conferencing on the internet.  If you are currently using Skype, you already know how this works! 

4. How can I schedule online lessons? 

Once we have determined that you are eligible for our pilot program this fall, we will schedule your weekly lesson time.  You then have the option to take your lessons either face-to-face at our studio, or online.
