Embark on a musical journey around the globe! This class will explore the music, performance traditions, and history of several of the world's most influential music cultures. Of special interest will be percussion styles and rhythms of each geographic region. Playing in a drum circle to pre-recorded examples, students experience music cultures through a variety of rhythmic patterns.
Each unit consists of 4 weekly sessions, starting in October.
Drumming Around the World (ages 8-14)
Mondays: 5:30pm-6:00pm
Adult Drumming Around the World (age 15 through adult)
Mondays: 7:00pm-7:30pm 
Tuition: $50 per 4-week session
