Erin Repsher (nee Chassey), Conductor of Training Choir, and Advanced Choir and Orff Ensemble

Erin Repsher small resized 600Erin Repsher received her Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from Westminster Choir College, where she graduated, summa cum laude, in 2003.  She was inducted into the Alpha Lambda Delta National Academic Honor Society, and was also nominated by a faculty committee to be inducted into the Pi Kappa Lambda National Music Honors Society for musical and academic excellence.   From 2003 through 2007, Ms. Repsher taught in the Florence Township School District, where she directed two choral ensembles and served as a general and vocal music teacher.  Since 2007, she has been a music educator in the Clinton Township School District, teaching general and choral music.  There she founded the 2nd and 3rd grade choral program and continues to incorporate a strong Orff and Kodály emphasis in her classroom teaching.   In addition to singing with the Westminster ensembles, Ms. Repsher was also a recent member of the Mendelssohn Club choral ensemble of Philadelphia. She has performed choral works with the New York Philharmonic, the New Jersey Symphony, the Royal Concertgebouw, and the Philadelphia Orchestra at such venues as Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, and the Kimmel Center.  In 2010 Ms. Repsher joined the faculty of Hunterdon Academy of the Arts, where she conducts two sections of the Hunterdon Youth Choir: Training Choir, and Advanced Choir and Orff Ensemble.
