Pianist Stefanie Watson completed her Master's degree in collaborative piano with Professor
Barbara González-Palmer at the Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University. Stefanie also graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in piano performance from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. An active freelance pianist in New Jersey and her home state of Maryland, Stefanie serves as the choral pianist for J.P. Case Middle School in Flemington, NJ. With the J.P. Case Tigerettes and conductor Rosemary Nagy, Stefanie had the privilege of performing at the 2010 Eastern Division American Choral Directors' Association conference in Philadelphia. In addition to teaching at HAA, Stefanie has performed and taught at The College of New Jersey and was selected in 2009 to be the staff pianist for Lied Austria International, a month-long summer program dedicated to the study and performance of the German Lied in Leibnitz, Austria. Stefanie joined our faculty in 2007 and has been teaching piano lessons and keyboard classes.
