Jill Hannagan serves as Director of Musikgarten Development at Hunterdon
Academy of the Arts. An internationally acclaimed early childhood teacher and author, Jill is the Executive Vice President of the Musikgarten Company. Jill has taught early-childhood music and movement classes since 1986, teaching studio music classes for children ages newborn to 9 years, and providing music programs to several Montessori schools. She has also been an adjunct faculty member of the music department of the University of Delaware.
Jill holds the highest level of certification granted by the Early Childhood Music Association and the former Kindermusik TM Teachers Association and has held the “Musikgarten Exemplary Program Award” since its inception. She has presented at national meetings of Music Teachers National Association, Suzuki Association, Music Educators National Conference, Orff Association, and the Kindermusik TM Teachers Association, as well as regional meetings of the American Montessori Society. Jill is an international teacher trainer for Musikgarten and is co-author of Musikgarten’s group piano methods, Music Makers: At the Keyboard and Musikgarten Adults: Enjoying the Piano Together.
