Since 1981, Cooper Music Studio, now an integral part of Hunterdon Academy of the Arts has been offering the award-winning programs of Kindermusik, the world’s leading publisher of music and movement curricula for parents and their children, ages newborn to 7 years old.
Today Hunterdon Academy of the Arts features one of the nation’s most distinguished, privately owned Kindermusik Programs. At the 2006 and 2007 conventions of Kindermusik International in Greensboro, North Carolina, and Schaumburg, Illinois, respectively, our studio was recognized for hosting the largest Kindermusik Young Child program in the world!
More recently, Hunterdon Academy of the Arts was awarded the coveted title "Maestro" by Kindermusik International. This puts Hunterdon Academy of the Arts in the top 1% of Kindermusik studios worldwide!
Kindermusik is an early childhood music and movement program that was written in collaboration with experts in every field of child development. The curriculum is based on carefully documented research confirming that music enhances a child's language, literacy, listening, problem solving, social skills and self-esteem.
