Christopher Espy, Trumpet and Trombone Teacher, Flemington, NJ

Christopher Espy is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Rutgers University, studying trombone with Amanda Davidson.  Chris earned his Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Connecticut, before attending Purchase College, where he graduated with a Master of Music in Trombone Performance in 2010.  Chris has studied with some of the most prominent trombonists and trombone teachers in the U.S., including James Markey (New York Philharmonic) and Weston Sprott (MET Opera Orchestra).  He has served as Principal Trombone in the Manchester Symphony Orchestra, and Willimantic Philharmonic Orchestra. For three consecutive years, Chris also served as trombone teacher at the U.S. Performing Arts Camp in Storrs, CT.  He joined the HAA Brass Faculty in 2011.
