Sarah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music from James Madison University and a Masters degree in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy from Westminster Choir College. She has most recently been seen as the Erste Dame the Bethesda Summer Music Festival’s Die Zauberflöte. Past productions include L’Elisir d’Amore, Die Zauberflöte, Patience, HMS Pinafore, and The Pirates of Penzance with the Westminster Opera Theatre and the JMU Opera Theatre. She has sung with the Middle-Saxony Opera’s chorus in their production of Der Zigeunerbaron in Freiberg, Germany, and in concert with the Middle Saxony Opera Orchestra. Her musical theater credits include Pippin and Oliver with the Fort Lee Playhouse as well as Dogwood Dell’s summer series productions of Hairspray and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. As a teacher, she believes singing should always come from a place of joy and strives to help grow her students' love of singing and musical curiosity.
