"Don't limit a child to your own learning, for he [she] was born in another time." - Rabindranath Tagore
Our teaching philosophy is based on the assumption that the student is a unique and complex human being, conditioned genetically and by the environment to absorb information according to his or her learning style, intellectual profile, and other intrinsic and extrinsic factors. As teachers, we are strong believers in the theory of Multiple Intelligences, developed at Harvard University. Through student assessments and behavior observation, we work hard to determine individual learning preferences in order to expose students to the most beneficial teaching modalities. The closer the match between a carefully chosen pedagogical approach and a student’s natural learning disposition, the more enjoyable the educational experience will be—for student and teacher! This, in turn, will speed up the learning process, leading to better learning outcomes.
