Bryan M.

Voice & Piano Lessons | Flemington, NJ

Bryan is recognized for his warm and rich baritone voice. He has performed several operatic roles including Diego Rivera in Frida by Robert Xavier Rodriguez, Sam in Leonard Bernstein’s Trouble in Tahiti, and Le Roi in Massenet’s Cendrillon, for Opera Steamboat, Westminster Choir College, and the Savannah Voice Festival. Other roles include Sander from Zémire et Azor by André Ernest Modeste Grétry, The Second Armored Man from Die Zauberflöte by Mozart, and Thierry and the Jailor in Dialogue de la Carmélites by Francis Poulenc.

As a teacher, Bryan strives to always create an environment where his students can feel comfortable to learn. Bryan has studied with accomplished Bass Peter Volpe and Dramatic Soprano Sharon Sweet using what he has learned from them in his teaching. He might be trained with classical technique but Bryan believes that all singing comes from the same basics. Through these basics, he teaches everyone how to sing safely and with confidence.

Bryan recently was a studio artist with Teatro Nuovo Covering the title role and Don Asdrubale for their production of Crispino e la Comare by the Ricci Brothers. Alongside that, he was also a member of the choruses for the same production and their production of Poliuto by Gaetano Donizetti. Bryan has also covered Escamillo in Carmen with the local New Jersey Company Boheme Opera.

Recently, Bryan was an Encouragement Award recipient for the St. Louis District of the Metropolitan Opera’s Laffont Competition. He has performed in masterclasses with Metropolitan Opera baritone Sherrill Milnes, and mezzo-soprano Denyce Graves.

In 2020, Bryan received his Bachelor of Music degree from Westminster Choir College. Bryan has also recently finished his studies at Indiana University’s prestigious Jacobs School of Music for his Master of Music in Voice Performance.
