She also performs in solo recitals and chamber ensembles. She is currently studying music and psychology at The College of New Jersey in Ewing, NJ, where she is heavily involved in the music department. She plans to receive her Bachelor of Arts in May of 2027, and will then pursue her master's degree in music therapy. Her primary teacher is David DiGiacobbe, with whom she takes lessons in both flute and piccolo. She has been teaching flute for the past 3 years to K-12 students in her hometown. Emily not only teaches flute, but also coaches those with performance anxiety and strives to make performing enjoyable. It’s called playing for a reason!
