Sound Familiar?

You’ve watched your child hold back—in class presentations, in social situations, in moments where you just wish they’d step forward. You want to see them light up. You want them to build the kind of confidence that stays with them for life.

You’ve probably tried other activities. Some were fine. None quite clicked.

Here’s what we know: the children who thrive most in our programme are often the quiet ones. The ones who “aren’t performers.” The ones who surprise everyone—including themselves.

This Isn’t a Drama Class. It’s a Journey.

HAA’s Theatre Arts programme is the only one in Hunterdon County built on a progressive belt system—just like martial arts, but for the performing arts.

What your child builds:

  • Stage confidence and public speaking

  • Focus, self-discipline, and follow-through

  • Teamwork, leadership, and creative problem-solving

  • Audition and performance readiness

  • Skills that show up in school, college, and career

What makes HAA unique:

  • A clear 6-year path from White Belt to Black Belt

  • Real productions—musicals and plays—on a professional in-house stage

  • Everything at one location: classes, rehearsals, performances

  • Expert faculty in acting, voice, and dance

  • LAMDA exam opportunities for advanced students

Here’s Exactly What Your Child Gets in the Free Trial

Session 1 Meet the faculty and class. Warm-ups, acting exercises, movement, and voice—all in one session. Your child experiences what HAA is really like.
Session 2 Go deeper. Work on character, ensemble skills, and performance basics. See the confidence starting to build in real time.
After the trial If your child loves it—and they usually do—we’ll talk about enrolling in Introduction to Theatre Arts and starting the belt journey. No pressure. No obligation.

When you enroll after the trial, you’ll also receive:

  • Your child’s first belt and belt certificate—a tangible milestone to celebrate

  • Black Belt Tracker Workbook—a take-home goal-setting and growth journal

  • Confidence Boost Toolkit—a personal development booklet for at-home use

Your Questions, Answered

Who is this for? Students ages 7–17, at any experience level. Complete beginners are not just welcome—they’re exactly who we designed this programme for.
My child has never done theatre. Is that okay? Absolutely. No prior experience required. Our Introduction to Theatre Arts programme starts at the very beginning and builds from there. Many of our most impressive transformations start with students who walk in having never stepped on a stage.
My child is shy. Will this work for them? Shy children often benefit the most. Theatre arts gives them the tools to find their voice—literally. Parents regularly tell us the growth in self-confidence is the most profound thing they’ve ever seen in their child.
What’s the time commitment? The 2-Week Trial is just two sessions—no obligation, no payment. If you enrol, classes are weekly. Rehearsals are built into class structure, so there are no surprise extra commitments. And everything—classes, rehearsals, and performances—happens at HAA.
What happens after the trial? You’ll have the option to enrol in our Introduction to Theatre Arts programme. We’ll walk you through everything—schedule, tuition, and next steps—with no pressure. The decision is yours.
How is this different from my child’s school drama club? School clubs are a great complement. What HAA offers is a structured, year-round curriculum with professional faculty, a 6-year progression path, defined learning outcomes, and real production experience on a professional stage. The club is the supplement; HAA is the foundation.
